Hi,

I have a question about USMT 2.6
When I run loadstate it creates a folder with the name
%csidl_personal% in the folder where loadstate.exe is located.
Is this correct?

"%csidl_personal%" is "shorthand" for the "My Documents" folder. You will
find information on this and other such shorthand in the USMT.CHM help file.
I assume that you have first run Scanstate.exe to capture data & settings?
Loadstate should not be creating a local folder with this name, and you
normally run Scanstate & Loadstate from a network location.

Hello Glen,
Yes I have run Scanstate.exe to capture user data and settings. :)
Scanstate.exe and Loadstate.exe is located on a share on the network.
When the client is running the loadstate.exe from the server to
restore the data to "My Documents" then the folder "%csidl_personal%"
is created on the network share.
Do you have any clue why the folder are created?

When I'm running scanstate.exe and loadstate.exe I use these settings:
Scanstate.exe /i:miguser.inf /i:migsys.inf /o /c /v:7
Loadstate.exe /v:7 /c
