I'm about ready to pull my hair out! I'm testing USMT 2.6 and getting
the same results from many different computers and user profiles.
Scanstate runs, and ends with "Tool Completed Successfully"...but no
Migration.inf file is created. And I can't run LoadState without
Migration.inf.
What IS created is a USMT2.UNC directory. It contains a large
IMG00001.dat file, and a small status file. There's also a very large
scanstate.log file. The last entries in scanstate.log refer to network
printers:
"Status [Object 77637] \\w2kfiptcl02\trans_traffic1
Status [Object 77638] \\w2kfiptcl02\util_adm1_pl
Info Scanstate is exiting."
Does anyone out there know why Migration.inf isn't being created?
Thanks in advance,
Deborah
