Using W2K Workstation as a Terminal Server

I know that W2K Server can be a Terminal Srver, but can W2K Professional be
set up like this? Is there an equivalent to XP Pro's Remote Desktop
available for W2K Pro (the Remote Desktop host capability, not the client).

Many thanks

"Terminal Server" is only available for servers, not for
workstations. You would have to look at alternatives
such as WinVNC or pcAnywhere. Note that these
products will take over the host machine, instead of
running a separate background session such as
Terminal Server.

Just an FYI that it looks like Windows XP Pro SP2 "may" support 1 non-console session. I haven't seen it yet, but have read it on wininformant.com. This would be a nice improvement for users that share a computer with someone else, so they can logon remotely w/o kicking off the console session

sorry guess they changed their minds....
XP SP2, as you might recall, was supposed to include all
the post-XP SP1 hotfixes and a new feature
called "concurrent user sessions." This feature, designed
primarily for Windows Powered Smart Display users, allows
two concurrent logons on XP Professional Edition
machines: one interactive and one remote. Sadly, the
concurrent user sessions feature won't be part of XP2;
instead, Microsoft will roll this functionality into the
software that ships with the next version of Smart
Displays, due in early 2004.

Thanks. If I VNC it does not include file transfer. What would you recommend
as an easy to install and manage ftp server?
