Using the "Set as Desktop Item" function

In locating a picture that I wanted to set as my
background I inadvertenly hit the "Set as Desktop Item"
instead of the "Set as Background" Now I can not get rid
of the Picture. Need help!

Try this:

Right click in a free space on the Desktop. This action should open up the
Display Properties box. Click on the Desktop tab. Down at the bottom of
this box is the Customize Desktop button. Click on it. Then click on the
Web tab. Uncheck anything in the Web Pages section. Click OK. Click
Apply.
