Using the keyboard without a mouse

I have rechargeable mouse which I sometimes forget to put
on the charger. How do I use the keyboard to bypass the
mouse and log on to Outlook and other programs?

Hit the shift key 5 times to access "sticky keys", tab to "settings",
enter, tab to "mouse keys", and enable it.
