Using the "From" Address in Outlook2000

With Outlook XP and 2003 you can add the from dialog by
going into View and checking Show From while sending a
new email. Can this be done with Outlook 2000 and if so
how?
 
Not true. The From field does not control the Sending Account in Outlook.
The Accounts dropdown does.
Only IMO mode of Outlook 2000 allows you to select the sending accent on the
fly. Which mode are you using? Look in Help | About, line 2 if you do not
know.
