Change Default Mail Handler to Outlook2000 from Outlook Express 5

Does anyone know how to change the default mail handler
from Outlook 5 to Outlook 2000?

The Help topics in Outlook2000 do not address this issue
(or I could not imagine what the subject could possibly be
listed under, since the obvious searches showed nothing)
and Outlook Express Help only shows how to set the program
as default mail handler, not undo.

I am assuming you mean Outlook Express 5 as there is no Outlook with that
name, they always have year numbers after the Outlook name.

So..Go to you Internet Explorer and follow below:
Go to TOOLS-->INTERNET OPTIONS-->PROGRAMS and look on the left for "Email
Handling" and just use the pulldown menu to select Outlook 2000 and click
Apply and OK and you should be in good shape.

Open Internet Explorer. Tools, options, change the mail handler on the
programs tab.
