Using Search to find Hidden Files in XP?

Tom

I need to find some hidden files to correct some problems caused in my
system by installing SP2. I have made all the files and folders
visible using the Folders Options/View button, but Search still will
not search for hidden files. I don't want to have to use Explorer to
plow through all those Windows and Systems folders and their
sub-folders. Anyone know how to make Search look for hidden files and
folders?

Hi Tom,

Go to Start - Search - All files and folders and click on More
advanced options and put a check next to "Search hidden files and
folders.

Well I feel dumb for not noticing the arrow bar and using it to find
"Advanced Options". Thanks a bunch. Tom.
