using recovery console...

Hi

My laptop keeps ending up in a never-ending loop on
bootup with the following message displayed:

"Isass.exe - system error
When trying to update a password, this return status
indicates that the value provided
as the current password is not correct."

I CAN now get into the console by using Windows XP Boot
disks....

.... How do I now repair my problem.

When I reboot the laptop just goes round in cirles
rebooting itself.

If that doesn't apply:

A suggested fix that seems to work on a regular basis without reloading the
system is to use Recovery Console and run a "chkdsk /r".

Cant use removal tool as unable to boot into windows.

Can only get to the recovery console...
