Using Powerpoint and media player

Hello! Our church uses MS Powerpoint to display the lyrics to the songs we
sing. Recently, we have started to use Windows Media Player 10 to handle the
music. When we switch between PowerPoint and Media Player and then back
again (to advance the slide), PowerPoint does not respond. Do you have any
suggestions?

At a guess, is the computer setup with extended desktop (slideshow on
projector and edit view on computer)? If so, when you click to Media Player
you take PowerPoint out of show mode and in order to advance a slide you
need to either click the slideshow tab in the lower bar or click the "resume
show" button in PowerPoint.

Hello Troy! Thank you for taking a look!

Yes, the compputer is set up in dual display mode (extended desktop).
PowerPoint 2003 displays the lyrics on the secondary monitor while Media
Player and the presenter view are open on the primary monitor. When we bring
the presenter view back into focus, and click on the forward button, nothing
happens.

I'll take a loook at it sometime today and get back to you!
