Using Outlook 2003, But still receiving winmail.day

Valeron

Hi, I'm using Outlook 2003, and I sent an email out with Voting buttons in it.

However, upon getting their reply, the email will end up as winmail.dat
My problem is, somehow, my Outlook 2003 is not PROCESSING my winmail.dat.....

It's on a fresh install, joined into domain.
Is there a setting somewhere that I can configure to make Outlook process
the winmail.dat file, instead of just attaching it?

From what I can google, this problem is only 'supposed' to happen with RTF
file format and sending emails to non Outlook clients.

Which begs the question, why is my Outlook 2003 not processing the
winmail.dat?

Hi,
Winmail.dat is a file format for windws mail ( its like outlook express in
winxp).
Outlok will be able to understand this file format.
You can check with www.answers.com, which defines and might provide some
options to convert in the resource section.

Hope this works
Have a nice day
