Using Outlook 2003 and Outlook 2000

I am trying to use Outlook 2003 calendar program to schedule an appointment.
I inviting an attendee that has Outlook 2000. They are not able to accept
the appointment. They receive a lot of text in the message field and cannot
add the appointment to their calendar. I did not have any problems when I
was using Outlook 2000 and sent the appointment to Outlook 2000. Thank you.
 
Make sure the reminder is not enabled. If it still fails, make sure it's
getting sent as RTF - after entering their email address, double click on
the address and set it to always use RTf.
