Inviting Attendees

A user was inviting attendees via the meeting requests available in Outlook
2003 calendar appointment option. They are using Outlook 2003 on Exchange
Server 2003.

When the user invites attendees instead of showing the attendees schedule
e.g. busy, out of office appointments it is greyed out with lines. The issue
is the person invited is on the same exchange as the person creating the
meeting requests and I am only aware that the greyed out schedule with lines
should only appear when a user who is not on the same Exchange.

The user has just been upgraded from Outlook 2000 to Outlook 2003. Can you
let me know of any other instances where the user would not be able to see
another users calendar via the meeting request option. Also I have checked
that their show free/busy time option is set correctly.

I would check to see if the DELIVERY point is a pst. If the system
folder is in a PST the free/busy will not be available.

Have you tried using the .../CleanFreeBusy switch to open the profile?

The delivery point should not be a PST as prior to the upgrade to Outlook
2003 all was working correctly. How do I check the delivery point to be sure?

Are you aware of other issues that could prevent Exchange from displaying a
users free/busy time in a meeting request schedule?
