Why do my shared calendars disappear in Outlook?

I run Outlook 2007 on an Exchange 2003 network with both Outlook 2007 and
2003 clients. I need to enter appointments into my own calendar and certain
other department calendars on the network. When I set up the appointment I
invite the other calendars via "Invite Attendees". The appointment appears in
my calendar, and one of the others, but not in another. Any suggestions on
what I need to do to fix this?

If you receive any sort of answer could you forward it on to me? We're
having the same exact problem. Our school district just made a big
upgrade and this is a chronic issue. The computers that didn't undergo
this upgrade seem to be fine. If you can, look in "favorites" in the
"Public Folders" and I bet your shared calendars are there. Weird problem.

When they disappear from favorites it usually means the profile is corrupt
or Outlook is not closing correctly, so the xml file holding the data is not
getting saved.

The best solution is a new profile - especially if you upgraded from an
earlier version.

If you use a PDA or other device or software that is accessing the mailbox,
disconnect or close it before closing outlook. This will allow Outlook to
close correctly and save the file.

Mine don't disappear from favorites, they stay there. But, they leave
the "Calendar" shortcut when I click on them.

I work for a city agency and we are having the same problem. There are
approximately 15 of us who are losing our shared calendars which includes
peoples calendars and other calendars. They are still in our favorites folder
but not in the shortcut as DR earlier stated.

Same here it makes no sense. I just moved the user to a new machine
and the user is even in a new domain, but the email is still in the
old domain. We are in the middle of a trasistion to new domain.

what domains are the calendars in? are all users in the same domain?

PS - please include the entire thread so we know what the discussion is
about & what was tried already.
