Using OL 2003 "Virtual Folders" to organize tasks by project?

I will be upgrading from Office XP to Office 2003 later this week. I am intrigued by the new "virtual folders" feature

Is it possible to..
.... identify tasks and other Outlook items so that they end up appearing in multiple virtual folders I create for each project I am working on?
.... create virtual task folders
.... create non-virtual task folders for each project without losing any functionality? In other words, if I made up 30 Task Folders, could I assign tasks from each of them? Could I have a "master" task list that shows a consolidated view of all of the tasks appearing in those separate lists?

Virtual folders (they are called Search Folders) can only be used on Mail
folders
