Using Nokia 6210 with cable DLR-3P

Why won't my laptop answer an incomming call when
receiving a fax?
My Nokia 6210 cellphone worked well on windows 98.
The built in modem has no problems answering an incomming
fax.
Please help.

I can send a fax with no problems using my cell phone.
I'm surprised that win2K isn't answering the incomming
call like win98 would do.
No matter what fax program i'm using, it won't work.
Please help.

Is "receiving fax" enabled on your Windows 2000 box? Go to Start | Programs
| Accessories | Communications | Fax | Fax Service Management, click on
Devices. On the right pane your fax device will be shown. Right click on the
device and select Receive.
