using multi host (two NIC's)

Hi All,

Pls help me..i have configured w2k profesional with 2
nic's..first nic connect to internet and second one to LAN
connections. sometimes i loose connection to internet
(suddendly)until 5 minutes and again connect. what's the
problem?

Hi Ben,

This could be caused by many things, here are a few to check:

A bad network cable - try replacing it
A bad network card - try swapping the LAN NIC and the Internet NIC - does
the problem follow the NIC?
A problem with whatever you plug into upstream
