Using mixerGetNumDevs() function, Can not get device!

Hello,friends!!!!
When I used mixerGetNumDevs() to get the number of the audio device in my
pocket pc, it returned ZERO! why?
 
Because there are no mixer devices on a typical PPC/Smartphone. Mixer is
usually backed up by a specialized piece of hardware and there is not much
use for it on PPC where audio alerts usually suppress things like music from
music player. If you want to control volme, use waveOutSetVolume
