B Brian A. Aug 3, 2006 #2 Select the block/text, cut and paste. Click once where you want to place it. On the menu bar click edit > paste. Right click and select cut from the popup menu. Right click where you want to place it and select paste from the popup menu. Press ctrl+x to cut. Press ctrl+v to paste. -- Brian A. Highlight the text you want to move and press Ctrl-X for cut. Then put the cursor where you want it to be and press Ctrl-V for Paste.
