Using Linked Tables

This may not be the right forum and if it is not please be so kind as to
direct me to the correct place.

I would like to use an Access database with nothing in it but links to
tables in another database (the "backend") on the same server but in a
different folder. Can I collect web form data (using ASP) and send it to the
database with the linked tables and expect it to write to the tables in the
"real" database?

I believe so, yes. I have done it with an ASP.NET app, and don't know of any
reason why it should not also be possible with 'classic' ASP. One possible
complication is that you may have to manage permissions on two folders - the
one containing the MDB with the links, and the one containing the MDB with
the actual tables.

a useable e-mail address at the URL above.
