Using IP address to get to web site.

All WWW-addresses translate into an IP-address...
i.e. SmartWhois www.yahoo.com (216.109.118.68)
So, you can connect yahoo by typing the www.yahoo.com or
the above IP address, both will get you to the same place.
You can translate addresses to Ip-'s in this webpage:
http://www.all-nettools.com/pr.htm

Thanks. This does work for Yahoo but doesn't for some
other web sites.
