Does anybody know how to use Ghost 2003 from a true MS-Dos prompt? I ca
install and use it that way, but I saw our network guy using ghost t
create a ghost image from the command prompt (not via window)
Unfortunately I can't ask him as he tends to keep what he does t
himself!!!

It's a GHOST boot disk that he was using - Ghost 2003 allows (as does
all Ghost versions) you to make a bootable Diskette or CD and then run
ghost from that.

The biggest hint is its running from real mode msdos. XP has no option to
run this only without its operating system dumped. And, appeared obvious to
the OP. So, don't understand why the OP question....

If you have Ghost 2003 installed use the option to create a bootdisc. Boot
off the disc and run Ghost from DOS.
