I am using 2 monitors for all other apps. I have. When I
open 2 Excel sheets, it wont let me move 1 of them to the
other monitor. Using XP and Excel 2002. Not sure what I
may be missing.

Thanks for all your help.

Bryan

Bryan,

This may be a version issue. I can put the Excel 2002 window across both
monitors, though I must do this manually -- it maximizes to one monitor or
the other. A worksheet window will maximize across the entire Excel window,
wherever it is, or can be manually put in one monitor or the other. A
colleage with Excel97 can't get the worksheet window across both monitors.
Both using Windows XP.

It works properly on my XP-Home with Excel97 system. To view multiple sheets
from one workbook:

1) Open Excel with the workbook you want active, then drag the edge of the
Excel window sideways so it covers the two monitors.

2) Click on Window > New Window to open up two windows at once, both with the
same workbook.

3) Resize and drag around the two windows you have now, such that one is on
each monitor

4) At the bottom of the two windows you can select which sheet should be
displayed on each in the normal manner.

Good luck...

Go to Display Properties /Settings, then below the gray box with the monitors
is a Display that will show the default monitors, click the dropdown arrow,
select the (Display: 2. Default Monitor on Matrox Graphics Mystique PCI) now
the section below changes allowing setting changes to this monitor, place a
check in (Extend my Windows desktop onto this monitor.) leaving the (Extend
my Windows desktop onto this monitor.) setting unchecked. Click the Apply or
Ok to save the settings.

Tip 2: try third party Apps to give more flexibility to duel monitors (I
use “UltraMon†isn’t free but is a great app.
