Using different colors for different contacts

I did this before but I can't remember how. I made the color of all of my messages from Shelly green, from Michelle red, from Nick, blue, etc. Well now I'm tired of that and want to go back to all black. Can someone tell me what to do?
 
Go into the Customize Current View dialog box (can be found via View |
Current View or, in Outlook 2003, View | Arrange By | Current View), click
the Automatic Formatting button, and disable or delete any color rules you
no longer need.
