Using Access 97 from Office 97 with Office XP

Brian

My computer came with Office XP small business. I also
have an Office 97 Professional version CD. I installed
Access 97 from Office 97 but get an error message that it
can't start because I don't have a license. Any thoughts
on how to address this?

I had seen this reference. This article appears to only
address Windows ME or before.

Incorrect. Although you won't be able to use the downloadable tool.
I've had this problem on Windows 2000 and Windows XP. I routinely
install Access out of version sequence just to see what kinds of
problems I encounter. This license problem has been the only such
problem.
