Users - 1 User...2 File Trees?

Hey,
SO I was looking in my folders and I found that although
I only have one registered user on this computer, I have
2 file folders that hold my data...I have "Default user"
And "Owner"....here's the best part: They contains many
of the same files. Does anyone else experience this?
It's bothering me because it's eating up my free hard
drive space twice as fast.
 
They are both valid folders. And yes, many of the files are duplicates, but
they're specific to your user and the Default User account. Leave the
Default User account's folders alone.
