One user, many user files

I just had to do a full system restore to get my laptop set up correctly (?).
I am the only user but the user files include SEPARATE files named "owner",
"default user", "all users" AND my name. All my setup files are scattered
among these user settings. Worse yet, my own user folder does not have my "My
Documents" file! What can I do to get ONE USER ONLY on a one-owner machine? I
want it to show my name (not "Owner") when I log on.

Most people have the same number of "users"...on mine for example I have "admin"
"default user","all users" and "ME".
Even though I only use ME most of the programs/shortcuts/etc are listed under
"default user".
Any that I feel I need I simply copy to ME even though they all are acccesible
from within ME.
On your Machine it sounds like that at one time you used "owner" and then
switched to "your name"
you can copy everything thats under "owner" to "your name"you can do this by
right clicking "start" and then Explore all users.
or
You can copy the whole of Owner into your name in one fell swoop.To do this you
need to start a 4th(?) account and give that account admin privileges.
reboot and sign in as that account.Right click "my
computer"/properties/advanced...........User
Profiles/settings..........highlight the "owner account"
and click copy to........on the next page browse to "documents&settings/your
name.........click OK
OK your way out.
Reboot and sign in as "your Name" check to make sure that all seems the same
before you delete that 4th account that you just used.
