Recently, I have experienced a problem with my XP Pro PC
whereas my user directory under Documents and Settings has
spawned 2 new ones. The two new user directories are
called {username}.000 and {username}.001 If I login as
Administrator and delete my account then re-add it, the
same thing happens?!? My problem is that the last account
that was spawned, *.001, becomes my current user
directory. This causes my desktop and other settings to
change to a default setup since all of my original
settings were under the original user directory. Does
anyone know how to fix this issue? I have no viruses or
spyware on this PC (it is clean).
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
