User with Sessions opne from anoher server

Dante

I have two Win2K servers. My problem is I have a user who shows having a
connection from server 1 to server 2. This user has files open. This user
is not logged into server 1. If I kill the connection of this user on
server 2 it re-establishes a connection almost instantly. Any thoughts as
to how I can stop this from happening?

Thanks

Dante

Dante,

I'm by no means an expert in this subject matter of user profiles, but I'll
try to assist you to the best of my ability. What it sounds to me, is like
the that particular user you're talking about has persistent mapped network
drives which would explain the behavior you're seeing.

If you were using any type of roaming user profile, folder customizations
would only apply to the Desktop and network shares, not to local folders or
persistent mapped network drives.
