User Profiles deleted

I accidentally deleted my User Profiles name in Windows
2000. From Control Panel I go to system, User Profiles and
then I just delete my name.
Now I lose all files in "my documents" folder.
Please, could anyone advice how to restore my profile? I
really need those files.

- Get them back from your backup medium
- Get them back from the Recycle Bin

If these two fail, do this:
- Install the disk as a slave disk in some other Win2000 PC
- Scan Google for the many undelete tools that exist for
Windows 2000.

If you do any work at all on your PC (e.g. if you install an
uninstall tool) then you greatly increase the risk that your
deleted files will be overwritten by something else, thus
making a successful recovery far more difficult if not outright
impossible.

After you have retrieved your files, you might want to review
your backup policy. Storing important files in just one PC is
never acceptable.
