User logons and Calendars

Is there a way for a XP User logon to have access to at least view a
calendar but not be able to change the time? I've found instructions on
how to give the User logon permission to do both, since they seem to
come together, but it would be nice if they could not change the time,
but still have the modern day luxery of actually being able to look at
a calendar on a PC screen (imagine how useful that could be!).

I can't test this right now, but can't limited users double-click on the
clock in the system tray to bring up the calendar? Not sure...
Or use Outlook?

Hi,

There are many freeware calendar applications available, and this will give
you what you want. As the time and date functions use common files, you will
find it difficult if not impossible to allow one function and not the other.

On some of my XP PCs they can, on others they can't, I haven' yet tried
all the responses to some of my past posts to find out what little
thing needs to be tweaked to make them all the same.
