User Icons don't appear at startup

After windows has loaded, it did not display the user icons to get into the
individual user accounts. I have restarted the computer and shut it down
with no luck. Can anyone help me?

I have a Dell 4400 running at 1.68 ghz. I run Windows XP Home with SP2 and
have remained current inall updates. It worked fine last night but this
morning the propblem occured.

Hi Joe,

Suggestion that has worked for many and good luck!
Boot into Safe Mode to the Admin account and log in. From there, perform a
System Restore.
