user icon from log in screen

hi,

does anyone know wht there is always a message saying i have 1 unread email
when i highlight my user icon during log in?

i have checked that i have no email in my inbox & all email are read...

how could i remove this message from my user icon during log in?

please advise.

You can use the free Microsoft TweakUI utility to solve this problem.

Go to the following website and download the free Microsoft TweakUI Powertoy.
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp

After the file is downloaded, double click the file to install. Open TweakUI and go to Logon / Unread Mail and remove the check mark from the "Show unread mail on welcomw screen" option.
