I keep receiving a iexplore USER.EXE error while I have an
internet seesion opened. This is causing my session to
close.
HOw can I stop this from happening?

There's a good possibility that this is being caused by a third-party
program (adware, spyware, parasite)

Download, install, *update* and run one or both of these programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/ (Remove items listed in red-others are
optional.)
Then, if necessary CWShredder from http://www.merijn.org/downloads.html
