Using XP Home. When using Windows Explorer I usually have the Documents
folders of other users displayed beneath the Control Panel folder and above
Network Places. I am the administrator.

One of the users documents has gone missing, although I can navigate to it
at its usual disk storage location within the D drive. How do I get it to
display within the group of Documents?

Thanks.

1) leave the file at its usual D drive position and creates a shortcut -
Open the My Documents folder Right click on an empty space and select New
then Shortcut and enter the path of "its usual disk storage location within
the D drive"

Or
2) Move the file to Using Windows explorer find the file and drag it into
the My documents whilst holding down the shift key. (without the shift
windows will make a copy)

Hope that Helps,
Martin

Oops, not very clear. I should have said:
