Hi,

I have problem with one user (win xp sp2). When user A logs into
windows and then locks his computer he cannot unlock his computer, he
gets message "The password is incorrect....." (passwordd is correct)
and when i logs as an administrator i log off current user and then
he
can log on again ???
User is also has local administrator privileges, anyone knows why
this
happen?

thanks

This happens because while the user thinks the password is
correct, it is in fact wrong. Do this to confirm it:
1. Change the password to AAA.
2. Lock the computer.
3. Unlock the computer, using AAA as a password.

Password is correct, I type password in username box and see it is
correct, and then type it in password box and get Password incorrect
message.

but thanks anyway

Unless you run the test I suggested you will never know for sure.
I've seen it on countless occasions: Users prepared to swear
that they entered the correct password, only to find that they
did not.

Have you tried typing in the admin password with the username still
the user's name (not admin)? Also, try resetting his password while
under administrator. Right click my comp->manage->users. Right click
name, and set password to something like pegasus suggested. also, is
the user logging into a domain, you might try DOMAIN\username in the
username box.
