I have XP Pro on NT domain. Last week the computer
reboots and then this message apears.
"Your account is configured to prevent you from using
this computer."
Only an administrator can logon. I know this must be
policies. But we did bare minimum on policies and it
doesn't seem to be what we put in.

As administrator go to gpedit.msc from run line.
Go to Comuter Config
Local Settings
Securtiy Settings

Look for Log on LOcally and make sure the user account you want is there.

Alos look at crashonaudit fail:

160783 Error: Users Cannot Log On to a Workstation
