User Accounts

I need help, really bad. I wanted to install a crack version of Object
Dock Plus. I had to change the SID to do so. After running the
Newsid.exe, I have lost my user accounts from the Windows XP login
screen. I am unable to access my account now.

Kindly assist me, this is my work machine and I am in serious trouble
in the office.

Probably a Repair Install would be the answer. Run the setup from CD, answer
NO to recovery Console option (select install instead) then in the next
screen select the copy of XP to repair. You'll need your licence key.

You might need to migrate your data back into the userprofile after the
repair.

But oh boy, are you lucky you didn't try that on one of my sites. It is a
well-recognised fact that I am not _always_ Mr Nice Guy.. =8-O
