USER ACCOUNTS

I only have one user account in my user account, in control panel,the user
account is limited access, so when i load programs it wont let me, how do i
add a adminstrator account there, or where do i go to ajust the settings so
my administrator user account will show up. when i log off and try to swicth
user accounts the only option i get is limited user accounts.

XP Home? XP Pro?

If home, boot into Safe Mode, logging in as "administrator" and change your
user to an administrator or create another account and use it to install
when you need to.

If Pro, at the Welcome screen press CTRL+ALT+DEL twice in a row (quickly)
and log in as "administrator" and change your user to an administrator or
create another account and use it to install when you need to.
