user accounts and permissions

Hello, I am a new user for MS-Access. I wanna create a
username for someone else and limit his permissions to
only see a couple of queries. However, when I follow the
book and go to tools>security>user and group account to
create new user name, then go to tools>security>user and
group permission, after I set permission for him, and I
try to use his name to log-in my database, his account
still can see every table and queries. How should I limit
his permission? Thank you very much.

Did you remove permissions from the Users group? Every user is a member of
this group, and if you didn't remove permissions then those permission will
override any unique settings you've made. Before going any further (a) make
a copy of your database in case you hose it and (b) download and
read-read-read the MS Access Security FAQ (from microsoft.com).

Further to Scott's advice, you may find it useful to read the document
on the web site in my signature.
