User Account

When I try to access User accounts through the Control
Panel I get the following error message: "The file name,
directory name or syntax is incorrect." And Note Pad
opens. Does anyone know what to do? Have I been hacked
or something?

sounds like a corrupt .cpl file in the windows\system32
directory which controls what control panel applet should
do.... try using an mmc and adding the relevant snap in
instead (could try deleting the cpl file if you know the
name)
