User Account timed log out

My partner and I both have seperate user accounts. When I log in I stay
logged in until I log out. When my partner logs in she is automatically
logged out after a period of inactivity. Can someone give step by step
instructions how I change this so she stays logged in until she logs out.

Have your partner log in to her account and check the following.

Go to Control Panel and double click Display.
In Display Properties, click on the Screen Saver tab.
Remove the check mark from the box next to "On resume, password
protect" or "On resume, show the Welcome screen".
Click OK.
Back in Control Panel, double click Power Options.
In Power Options, click on the Advanced tab.
Remove the check mark from the box next to "Prompt for password
when computer resumes from standby".
Click OK.

Good luck
