User Account Crash - Lost settings

Hi...Im using windows XP Pro, while using it the computer
literally hanged and i was logged on my account
(administrator).
since the computer crashed i needed to restart it
manually...and so i did.
while trying to log on my user account a pop up said
something about couldnt logg me in and a temp account
will be created ect.
Now i had all my setting in that account including
Outlook Express (all my e mails) and i had "encrypted" a
few IMPORTANT Folders, which i need to work on Hourly.
Since they have been encrypted i can NOT access these
files from any account. can NOT read any e mails that i
recieved before the "crash" wich are very important.
Is there a way how i can get My account back including my
settings...Please Help Me!!!

If you encrypted any data and did not back up the Encryption Certificate,
the data is not retrievable.

For the data that was not encrypted, the files should still be in the
Documents and Settings folder under the old user name. You will first need
to take ownership of these files and then copy the contents of that profile
to the new profile you created during the re-installation. These 2 articles
will guide you.
