User Account Control

I have disabled UAC but I would like to re enable it. However, when I do
this I lose some functionality in some programs. For example, I would be
unable to save documents, save in games, etc. How do I fix this? Is there a
way to return UAC to it's original default settings?

Well this did not work. I tried changing owner ship but I still can't save
files and some game saves are saying they are corrupt.

Yes you did and I misstated myself below. I took ownerhip. My apologies.
Point is, it didn't work for me. However, what did work was to change the
permissions for that account which solved the problem. For some reason,
switching back to UAC from UAC off changed the permissions for the
administrators from full control. Once I restored those permissions, all is
sweetness and light. lol What your suggestion did, though was lead me to
activate the hidden Administrator's account. Thanks for trying to help. All
