Disable User Account Control (UAC)

Hello, I'm using Vista Home Premium. Since I am the only user of my laptop,
I disabled the User Account Control (UAC). After every startup, a window
pops up reminding me to enable UAC which I purposely turned off. Anybody
know how to prevent this annoying window from appearing? Thanks in advance.

Perhaps doing this will do the trick -

Hi Frank,
Is the weather in the Philippines nice this time or year?

I'm just curious, how long have you been using your Vista Laptop not
counting the rest of the days left in this month?

You can Disable the prompt your getting by editing the Vista HP laptop
Registry.
If you need instructions for a Registry edit then I suggest you rethink your
current
strategy and revert back to using UAC in a standard account at least until
you become
more acquainted with the registry.

Because IMO those that use a computer this day and time running in elevated
privileges fall into 1 or 2 categories.
1. Experts that know what they are doing and have sound / technical reasons
for doing so.
2. Most users that have no or very little understanding / education in PC
computer security and I'm not talking just virus activity etc.

That being said, and because someone will more than likely give you the
information anyway with out any vetting (usually by an expert).
You can find the step by step instructions, that I'm sure you will need at
the link below. Use the Manuel method under Option One:

If you start to have second thoughts read the following articals:

Frank, you can always say, "I did it my way"

Your going to need good luck on your side, so
Good Luck

Hi Frank,

I notice you are using an XP machine to do all your posting. Can you use
your newer Vista Laptop for your postings?
Why not?

There are various kinds of operation that ordinary users, not just geeks,
want to do - like installing software you own - that don't work with the UAC
on.

For the moment, the best you can do is *temporarily* disable the UAC.

In the longer term, it's becoming more and more urgent to find an OS other
than M$ that you can live with.

Regards
