Use the meeting invite Location field for scheduling conference rooms

Is there a feature built into Outlook or Exchange to use the Location
field of a meeting invite to schedule conference rooms? This would
include indicating if the conference room is already busy for the
selected start/stop time of the meeting. Our users are having
difficulty learning to use the Resource feature.

Thanks, David

No, it works the other way around: Invite the room as a Resource attendee, and Outlook will automatically put the name of the room in the Location field.

FWIW, Outlook 2007 + Exchange 2007 make resource scheduling much easier and more transparent.

Please post follow-ups in the calendar newsgroup. This group is for programming questions.
