Use "Scheduled Tasks" to turn on/off Local Area Connection?

Is it possible to use the "Scheduled Tasks" feature of windows to my local
area connection on and off? I am willing to leave my computer on during the
day while I am at work but I don't want to have to be connnected to my router
and the internet other than during specific time frams?

Is this possible, and if so, could someone help me out with setting this up?

Thanks,
Mark V.

Thanks Robert. I did some research on NETSH but couldn't find sytax that
would enable or disable my local area connection. I hate to ask this but
would it be possible for you to compose a small script that I could use? I
may be overlooking a simple command but I can't seem to find it or understand
which helper DLL to use in this situation.

Thanks,
Mark V.
