Use Basic or Dynamic disks ?

Hey all,
I recently upgraded my basic disks to dynamics disks in win2k server for use
with
mirroring.

Eventually I may add the same support in my XP box, but until I get the
other drives,
is it better (ie faster, safer, performance wise, etc.) to upgrade your
disks from basic
to dynamic anyway ? Of course the disks are already NTFS, I just wasnt sure
if
converting them to dynamic would increase any performance.

No other OS's are needed or used, no multiboots, nada. Just XP and Win2K
boxes
on the network.

I've been googlin for a while with no answers.
Many thanks.

I don't believe it'll make a bit of difference, and you don't have the
mirroring option in vanilla WinXP .. just striping, which I wouldn't
touch with a barge pole.
