Basic or Dynamic HDD settings help

I have now put in a new 500gig HDD but in disk manager it says it is
"Dynamic" and not "Basic". I googled dynamic and to my understanding dynamic
is for Raid and uses a database for its file system. Is there any reason I
should keep it as dynamic I will only be storing my personal files on it
with no installed programs or games. Is it faster or better than basic if
not I will convert it to basic.

Thanks

Set it back to Basic.

Dynamic just makes maintenance at some later date, a bit harder.
