When I start my computer and windows open and I see the background, a windows
open telling me FOUND NEW HARDWARE... USB2 UNIVERSAL SERIAL BUS CONTROLLER.
It was working perfectly well before yesterday.

Plus a second windows appear saying SYSTEM HAS RECOVERED FROM A SERIOUS
ERROR, A LOG... PLEASE TELL MICROSOFT... so I always send the message.

Then a third window appear WELCOME TO THE NEW FOUND NEW HARDWARE WIZARD. VIA
USB 2.0 ENHANCED HOST CONTROLLER. So I click next, he search for the driver,
(I put the CD of the controller card), but he say TYPE THE PATH WHERE THE
FILE IS LOCATED. COPY FILES FROM: E:\VIA\VTG202\WINXP_SP1 (I have by the way
service pack 2).

I I look at device manager, I see one usb controler and 1 enhance universal
controler with a "!" sign next to it.

What can I do ?

Each time I reboot it is always the same thing.

Give this a shot.
Right click on "MY Computer", click on "Manage", then click on "Disk
Management".
Now look through the list and see of your USB device is there, if it
is, under "Volume", click your device and change the letter. You will
be given a list of available letters. Select any one. Click ok, ok,
Once you have clicked out all the way to the desktop, you may get MS
window that will pop up with several selections of what to do with the
device. IF this does not happen, then open "MY Computer" and see if
the device is listed there, if it is, then click on it and see if that
opens it.
If none of this works, leave all as it is, remove your USB device and
reboot and then reconnect the device after rebooting.
Having had this problem myself, this is what I have done to find the
device.
Please post back and let us know what happen.

Dan (Still going in circles)

I resolve the problem by uninstalling SP2, then install SP1a, plug the card.
Every thing was ok. Reboot, and every thiing went fine. Reinstall SP2.

To install properly, the USB2 card add to be install in SP1.
